FOB
Confirm the named shipment port, delivery arrangements and who books the main carriage. For containerized shipments, check the chosen rule and handover point against the contract with your adviser.
CIF
Identify the named destination port and the scope of carriage and insurance arranged by the seller. Separately confirm destination charges, import clearance and inland delivery responsibilities.

Provide the trade term and named place, then list pickup, customs, loading, ocean freight, insurance and destination requirements separately. A freight quotation does not replace agreement on price, risk, insurance or responsibilities.
