Jebel Ali discharge is different from final UAE delivery

Name the port precisely.
Jebel Ali and Khalifa Port are different UAE port enquiries. If a purchase order says only Dubai or Abu Dhabi, ask the buyer which port to quote before comparing offers.
Separate port delivery from the final address.
State whether the container ends at the port or needs delivery to a named warehouse, JAFZA address or another UAE location. Ask the destination agent to confirm the applicable release, customs and delivery arrangements.
Ask how the proposed routing works.
For your cargo-ready date, request the named carrier, any transshipment point, indicative sailing arrangement and the conditions attached to that offer. This page does not promise a direct service or a fixed transit time.
Agree the origin work and destination responsibilities
Discuss Tianjin-origin FCL ocean freight and booking, export customs coordination, inland trucking, warehousing and container loading. The accepted tasks, conditions and charges are defined in the agreed shipment scope.
Tell us whether you need port-to-port freight or additional work. Import clearance, taxes, local release and onward delivery are not automatically included; coordinate them with the buyer or destination agent. Container options and the information to send
For a standard dry-container enquiry, indicate 20 GP, 40 GP or 40 HC. Suitability needs review against dimensions, weight, packaging and loading method, not only total weight. Describe other equipment requirements separately. Unknown optional details can follow later.

What should a quotation include or exclude?
This is a scope checklist, not a tariff or a promise that every item is included. Confirm currency, charge unit, payer, validity, inclusions and exclusions in writing.

Jebel Ali shipping questions
Can I ask for “Dubai” instead of Jebel Ali?
You can start with that enquiry, but confirm the actual discharge port and final address before accepting a quotation. A Dubai delivery request and a Jebel Ali port-only request have different scopes.
Does the quote include UAE customs and delivery?
Only items expressly included in the written scope are covered. Identify your destination agent and ask for the local charges and delivery responsibilities separately.
Can an overseas forwarder request origin-only support?
Yes. Specify the Tianjin tasks you need and who controls the ocean booking and destination work. Agency terms, payment and document instructions require agreement.
